PROM DRESSES.

when it comes to that big decision of which dress you want to choose.. there are many different websites and shops to visit.
personally i just wanted something that was quick delievery, unique and stunning .
when i saw the website name 'sexy her' i kind of thought... hmm.. really?! thats not very prom dressy' kinda site...
but as i clicked through i was shocked and amazed by the amount of quality GORGEOUS dresses on this website... and the best thing about it... ITS ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE!

i was sooo happy, and even happier when i ordered and it came the next day, in good condition... and even happier when i took it out the parcel and realised just how beautiful it is!! i was instantly in love with it.. it was like a princess dress!

Barry M's 101 and Gosh darling.

I love Barry M's 101 lip paint, i think its a great colour and stays on for such a long amount of time.
Although.. this is the only Barry M lipstick i have tried that has a slight drying effect on the lips. I have noticed when i apply the lip paint if you have slightly dry or chapped lips it will really show this and dry on your lips so there is no moisture. This is a real down side to this lipstick. I love the colour.

HOWEVER, there are solutions to this problem, i have started to put on a lip balm before applying the lip paint, this has helped it be more moisturising and helped it apply better on my lips.
Another thing i do is apply GOSH darling on my lips first and if i want to modify the colour and make GOSH darling seem slightly more Nude then i use 101 over the top. This works nicely and the colour lasts a long time.

I personally LOVE GOSH darling, i think it is a beautiful Nude shade. It has a great moisturising effect and glides on smoothly. It lasts a long time too!

Comparing the Colours of these to products.

Barry M's 101 lip paint is more a true nude, it does not have such a pink undertone. It is basically the same colour as GOSH darling but it does not have as much pink in it.

GOSH darling lipstick is a very wearable nude which has lovely pink undertones. I have quite pale skin and i find myself feeling more comfortable wearing this shade as it is not going to make me look like 'death walking' haha. ;)

Overall they are both lovely lipsticks, it just depends what type of lipstick you prefer!

Here are some recommendations of shops i would go to, to get gifts From Cheap to Expensive. ;

• Primark for jewelry, scarfs,gloves,hats,bags,shoes,makeup and general home products. Primark is good, you can buy cheap things which are nice. You can get nice products for the home as well as pyjamas and clothes. GOOD FOR CHRISTMAS CARDS AS WELL AND WRAPPING PAPER!!
• Poundland, although it isn't very fashionable, you can find some good makeup products and moisturisers in there and some stationary.
• Argos, great bargins
• Claires accessories, cheap for the younger girlie's!
• Body Care, Some great products, Fake Nails and general beauty products for cheap!
• Lush, Lush is a fun soap and body care brand. Although it is not cheap cheap, you can find some reasonable priced products in Lush. You can ask them for a £3.00 block of soap for instance, they smell gorgeous and they have lots of other products.
• H&M, is great for HELLOKITTY lovers! i brought the nicest hello kitty big jumper! its gorgeous, they also have hello kitty hairbrushes, makeup and moisturisers. Also Great Fashionable clothes.
• TopShop, Great for fun T-shirts, again it will be abit more pricey than Newlook
• RiverIsland, They sometimes have nice sales. They have great hats and fun accessories (such as thier panda beanie! i lovee <3
• Rebublic, Very nice fashion clothes, but slightly more expensive.
• Jack Wills, Great Jock type clothes. Shirts are very nice. And jogging bottoms! Very Exspensive but have good sales sometimes!
• SuperDry, gorgeous clothes. Some great prices. LOVELY COATS AND HOODIES :)

Primers, My HONEST opinion.

I honestly don't believe you have to spend money on two products for your foundation to stay.

Personally i would rather spend money on a good foundation which will last all day even without a primer.
Such as:

• Dream Matte Mouse
• Revlon Colour Stay
• MaxFactor Second Skin Foundation
• and any MAC foundation

All these foundations apply smoothly, giving you a Great coverage and flawless skin :)

I don't personally see the point in buying a primer which is just more money, save the money you don't spend at spend the 10+ on a decent Foundation!!

River Island,SuperDry and Primark Winter accesories.

My main winter accesories are, a Hat, Scarf and Coat.

Recently i went to River Island and spotted the most adorable hat EVER. It is warm, Cute and snuggly. Although many people would not wear this sort of thing, i thought it was great and is a fun way to make your outfit fun but it still is casual.

My favourite types of scarfs differ, but i like a wide range of scarfs to choose from. My favourite one at the moment, is a white platted scarf . It is beautiful. I brought this from Primark.

My Absoloute must have is a tulip style coat. This is more for smart wear in the winter. Although it can be made to look casual. I think if you add a more casual scarf it brings the look down. ( ill add a picture of mine asap)

My favourite coat of all time , is my superdry windcheater. Its AMAZING!!!! Mine is the same as the picture about, apart from it has bright blue writing on the superdry!

LUSH products & Acne.

I absolutely LOVE LUSH cosmetics to get rid of Acne.

My 3 fave products are;

• Cosmetic Warrior
• Tee Tre Toner
• Fresh pharmacy

These 3 Products work great together and are great long lasting products, worth the money! Great cheap prices.

Although all these products are great you have to find the right routine for you! This may not work for some. I will post some more blogs, on other products which are great for getting rid of acne!

Barry M lipsticks :)

I've been buying Barry M products for ages now, i have quite a few dazzle dusts and lipsticks, bronzer and also a makeup brush ( which i absolutely adore!! )

Anyway today I'm going to talk about the lipsticks, i suppose the most 'famous' one in the cosmetics world, which EVERYONE is raving on about is Barry M Lip paint is 129. basically a much cheaper lavender whip or fashion mews.

The two lipsticks, i am going to talk about are my two favourites,the 129 lipstick and the 132 lipstick.

I would advice anyone to run out and buy the 132 its the prettiest lipstick ever, i love it soo much. its one i would go out and buy again and again, because i have never seen a lipstick this colour it is soo unique. :)

Its a reddish pink, with gold flecks running through it, its highly pigmented and creamy. which is great as it doesn't dry out your lips.

The other great thing, is it lasts for hours, so theres no need to keep putting the product on which makes the lipstick itself lasts a long time as well :)

Great buy GO GET IT

My second favourite lipstick, is of course Barry M lip paint in 129, its a gorgeous colour, although i don't think it suits me that well, but i find if i dab it on my lips it looks a lot nicer.

Its a great lipstick for building colour, you can dab it on and have a light shiny purple glaze or a full on purple pout ;) Its very pigmented and just like all the other Barry M lipsticks it last forever on your lips.

My verdict?
Great alternative for MAC products and with the unique colours its great to find something different for once!

Just for the price of them its worth checking out there :£4.28 ish i think :)
